My beautiful client from senior ball season! Product list:

She asked for a neutral smokey eye with a pink lip!

I used soft brown and texture by Mac in her crease, foxy by naked basics and naked lunch by Mac on the lid. Used just a dark black on the other crease.

Her face primed with L’Oreal Magic Perfecting Base, and her skin was FLAWLESS she only wanted medium coverage. I used Studio Fix Fluid by Mac in NC30.

Her blush is Melba by Mac, NYC “Sunny” bronzer to contour.

Her lips is Viva Glam II by Mac, with Patisserie by Mac as well.

Eyebrows is Mac’s Charcoal Brown eyeshadow. Clean up optional using studio finish concealer in NW25.

Lashes are Ardell 120 Demi Wispies

Hi beautifuls! I’m back with a blogpost on the Neutrogena Shine Control Liquid Foundation.

First and foremost, I have combination and acne prone skin, with a lot of scars.

My cousin gave this to me as she said it wasn’t her shade, this is in “Buff 30”. The foundation line has a few ranges of shades for pinker tones and yellow tones. This foundation IS on the pricer side of drugstore foundations. I had high expectations for it.

The packaging is cute, but the foundation itself is very thick. And annoying at times to get out the bottle.

Disappointed. Within an hour the foundation was starting to get blochy, and I saw my skin already reacting to the ingredients with a few pimples. Including my pores looking bigger than usual. It also leaned onto looking more grey on me. This foundation does not cover ANYTHING. In the picture above you can still see my acne, and scars. I tried multiple times to also cover up my under eyes but it just didn’t do the job. The foundation is very thick, and I think it’s only good for people with naturally good skin.

People with good skin would like this to cover up little discoloration, but defintely not for people who have skin like mine.

2/10 •good for people with healthy luminous skin •semi matte finish •nice packaging

I’m obsessed with these lashes, they can be purchased at Daiso it’s just a criss cross lash, with a wispie kind of feel! Looks so gorgeous!
I’ve been loving this gradient, warm neutral smoked liner look!

Maybelline Fit Me, SPF 18

$7.99-9.00
What it claims:
It’s makeup that fits you.
No oils, no waxes, no nonsense
Natural coverage that leaves skin the way it was meant to be…fresh, breathing, natural
Exclusive translucent base and lightweight pigments allow skin’s natural highs and lows to show through
Non-comedogenic, dermatologist-tested
I’ve always wanted to love this foundation, because right when it came out (about 3 years ago), I gave it a try. I gave up on it, it broke me out and made me blotchy.
3 years later, still happening. This isn’t my shade, but i’ve used it to contour and it just doesn’t work out. It’s very bad for acne prone skin, and OILY skin. It gets blotchy quickly, and fades before it even hits the 3 hour mark!
That clearly explains it all, I love the cute packaging, and the whole concept… But it doesn’t live up to any of Maybelline’s great products. This is definitely not one of them!
If you have very little scars, and dry skin this will work out for you. But for acne prone and oily to combination skin, this will be your last resort in this world.
